Project Overview

ODUM ENERGY FZE is implementing a modern Crude to Chemicals (C2C) Refinery complex in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. The refinery will process light & sweet crude of Nigerian origin to produce major petrochemical building blocks like ethylene and propylene along with some premium grade fuels, like LPG, gasoline, and diesel. Ethylene and Propylene will be further polymerized to LLDPE, HDPE, and PP to extract maximum value in world-scale size plants. The crude throughput capacity will be around 100,000 BPSD or approximately 4.2 MMTPA.

The technologies for various process units will be provided by eminent process licensors of international repute. Various innovative measures are being taken to save time and capex. The cutting-edge technologies for the project will usher in a new era of valorizing the crude to produce the most valuable chemical molecules, minimize the environmental footprint, contribute significantly to the country’s economy, reduce import dependence, and generate direct and indirect employment for host communities.
